There are an escalating number
of computer viruses that have been circulating around the Internet,
some of which may appear at first glance to originate from a Support,
Staff, Management address of Keller Williams, or even your own ISP.
Don't be tricked into opening
the attachment regardless of what the email says - these are being
created by a new variant of the 'W32.Beagle" virus and will infect
both your system, as well as send infected copies of itself to everyone
in your address book including your clients.
Specifically, stear clear
of attachments with the extensions: .exe, .bat, .scr, .cmd or .pif.
Please note that KWRI scans and disinfects all incoming emails.
There is no way to be completely sure all potentially harmful attachments
are removed from your email. Please exercise extreme caution when
opening anything remotely suspicious as it has the potential to
harm both yourself and others. As always, education and awareness
is the surest method of prevention.
