Entourage 2004
These directions have not been tested in setting up a KW account. Keep in mind that the POP3 server name is mail.kw.com. The user/password information is the same as if you were to login to webmail. The SMTP server is not provided by Keller Williams, but you can use the mail server provided by your ISP.
1. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
2. In the Accounts window, select the Mail tab, and then click New. The Account Setup Assistant appears.
3. On the Set Up a Mail Account page, type your KW e-mail address in the E-mail address box. For example, type username@kw.com. Click the right arrow to continue to the next page.
4. If Entourage 2004 succeeds in automatically determining the server settings, the Account Setup Assistant prompts you to click the right arrow to continue to the next page. If the automatic configuration fails, click the left arrow to return to the previous page and to correct your e-mail address.
5. On the Verify and Complete Settings page, you can confirm your name and e-mail address and enter your password. This is optional. Click the right arrow to continue to the next page.
6. On the Optional: Verify Settings page, you can verify the setting by clicking Verify My Settings. Click the left arrow to return to the previous page to edit your settings, or click the right arrow to continue.
7. In the dialog box that appears, click Verify your account settings or Skip to the next page.
8. On the Setup Complete page, type a name for your KW account in the Account name box. To include the account in your Send & Receive All schedule, click to select the corresponding check box.
9. Click Finish to save the settings.
Your KW account appears in the Folder List pane. After you receive the account information from the KW logon server, your KW folder structure appears when you click the blue triangle arrow.
Mobile Phone/PDA
While we do not support the configuration of 3rd party email clients, I will tell you that you can configure your POP server with your KW webmail information. (Incoming Mail POP3 Server - mail.kw.com)
If you have an MSN, Yahoo, or Gmail account, you can use on of those as your SMTP server. You'll need to set up an account with them and use their mail servers to send mail. Here is the link to set up an Outlook email client using your Yahoo account: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html
Please note that we at Keller Williams do NOT support the implementation or use of this, however it has been my personal experience that this method does work.
